Inclusive Design is good for all (FALL 2020)
​
Google asked the SCADpro team to research and develop concepts to create the materials to educate and train the design staff team to become more knowledgeable of the design for inclusivity and accessibility. Ten weeks of research and interviewing produced the campaign ReachMe.
ReachMe provides underrepresented people the chance to share their voices to be seen and heard through websites where the designers can take time to learn and have proper inclusivity and accessibility training.

Educated the team about accessibility and sign language and shared stories of firsthand experiences of living with a disability.
Art Summit 2022
Deaf Spotlight will host its first Art Summit, a virtual Professional Development space where Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled and Hard of Hearing artists can network and learn more about the business side to become successful and practicing creatives. This is a great opportunity to build skills and to be confident in running your own art business.

Event Director
​
Overseeing all aspects of event planning, including finances, contracts, timelines, staffing, and workshop. Scheduling and managing staff hours, including setting up work schedules, ensuring that team members have appropriate breaks, and checking in with staff on the status of an event's progress.
Deaf Spotlight Short Play Festival
Some of the best Deaf writers, actors, and directors in the Pacific Northwest and nationwide presented original ten-minute features at Deaf Spotlight’s first biennial Short Play Festival. The performances illuminated the artistry of the Deaf community and American Sign Language. All of the plays were performed in ASL with English captions. The featured ten-minute plays were never before seen works, and the writers were limited only by their imagination.

Deaf Spotlight Youth Camp
Deaf Spotlight offered Art Day Camp for Youth who are deaf, hard of hearing, and CODA kids. Deaf Artists provided a hands-on exploration of a rich variety of artistic mediums in a safe spaces.
